Aliza Heller M.S. CCC-SLP, P.C.

Aliza Heller has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech and Communications from Touro College. She holds national certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and licensure from the State of New York and New Jersey. Aliza also holds teacher certification from both the NY and NJ Departments of Education.

Aliza has extensive experience working with typically developing children, as well as children and teenagers with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy and other diagnoses. She has worked in New York as a speech language pathologist for the NYC Department of Education in a Universal Design for Learning school, as well as in Early Intervention. Aliza gained additional experience working with preschoolers and school-age children at The Center for Education (Lakewood, NJ) where she used PROMPT to help special needs children with speech and language disorders.

Aliza is PROMPT Certified and currently owns a private practice in Lakewood, NJ. There she utilizes PROMPT to help children with developmental disabilities, hearing impairment, apraxia, and articulation problems.

Her office location is accepting new clients for evaluations and treatment of a variety of speech and language disorders.
