PROMPT Certified Speech Therapist
“Aliza was unbelievable! Our 3 year old son could not get sounds out of his mouth and in just a few months, she got him on the right path. We were able to see his progress so clearly. She had so much patience with him! We are so happy and thankful!!!”
“My son was diagnosed with apraxia, and he was making minimal progress in speech therapy until we started PROMPT therapy. I’m so happy that Aliza Heller is my son’s speech therapist. He has benefited so much from her expertise especially in PROMPT therapy. She engages him with various methodologies and there is continuous progress and marked improvement in his speech. He says more sounds and is able to put syllables together. He is much more coherent and understandable. Aliza is a very devoted therapist and has a real knack working with kids. My son enjoys the time he spends with her and she always manages to get him to be cooperative. He is so proud that he is able to say the words without the help and at times even “PROMPTs” himself.”
“My daughter Rikki was 4 1⁄2 when she started PROMPT therapy with Aliza. She spoke using very few consonants and it was very hard for people to understand her. Within months, she improved immensely. We had tried so many therapists who used traditional speech therapy methods, but none had helped her. Aliza’s professionalism, knowledge and can do attitude made her progress possible. I found the PROMPT method sped up her progress. I would recommend Aliza to anyone struggling with apraxia or any other speech impediments.”
“I had a severe lateral lisp since I was a child and had been going to speech therapy for 10 years with no real results. Within 3 month of my start date with Aliza I was totally cured. No one would ever know that I struggled before. With PROMPT, the approach was different and her ability to pinpoint the exact source of the issue made it quick and easy. Every session was truly enjoyable. ”
“My 18 month old son was unable to say any words at all. He was constantly frustrated as he was trying to communicate but not very effectively. Any time he tried to speak it looked so difficult and arduous. Within 2 sessions of PROMPT therapy he began to speak first words, then phrases and finally sentences. After completing just 6 months of PROMPT therapy, we now have a fully articulate 2-year old who can effortlessly communicate anything at all. Thank you Aliza!”
“We are truly grateful that we’ve been given the opportunity to write this letter of recommendation for Aliza Heller. Although we were told to expect major developmental delays when our daughter was born, it didn’t prepare us for the pain we’d endure, as we watched other children our daughters age develop and flourish, while our child seemed to be stagnant in her progress in speech. After almost a year of multiple sessions a week of speech therapy, her level of speech was practically identical to where she was holding from the onset of her vigorous regimen of therapy. She was almost two years old, and she only had 1-2 words in her vocabulary, without a sign of any major progress on the horizon. We were very hopeful when we heard about this other type of speech therapy called PROMPT. We were planning a trip to the United States and we knew we had to give this a shot or we’d always doubt ourselves that maybe there was something more we could have done for our daughter. Aliza was professional, kind and patient in a way we never encountered with any other therapist our daughter worked with. It was the first time she enjoyed her therapy sessions, as Aliza was natural at making the work fun & something for her look forward to. What astounded us most was just how effective PROMPT treatment was. After just one session, she coaxed our daughter into saying a new word she had never said before, and from there on things took off at a pace we never thought possible for our child. Words can’t describe how grateful we are to Aliza Heller for everything she accomplished with our child, and for doing in two months what we thought was simply not possible for our daughter with the challenges she has.”
